I’m a personal trainer based in Harrogate and North Yorkshire that specialises in home visit training sessions. I’ll work with you to achieve weight loss through intense, enjoyable training and motivate you to change your diet. I have a proven track record of helping clients achieving their weight loss and fitness targets. I am different to other personal trainers in a few ways.
Firstly, I participate in every training session with you. I’m not the trainer stood next to you shouting at you. I’m exercising every second with you helping you through the session extracting as much from each session as possible.
Secondly, the support you receive doesn’t stop at the end of your training session. I’m constantly giving you motivation through text messages and phone calls as well as information through my social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook.
Thirdly, It’s all about the relationship between client and trainer! We’re going to see an awful lot of each other over the coming months so it’s a good job I’ve got a good personality to see us through the blood sweat and tears (hopefully not so many tears)!
I organise a calendar of events giving clients the opportunity to try new activities and meet other clients. These are free activities for clients to attend a guided walk in the Dales, Summer picnics on the Stray and celebrate the year end with Christmas drinks in Harrogate.
Each client gets a personalised exercise schedule that helps them to work on their personal goals and change in their body shape. I train in a friendly but firm method, pushing and encouraging you to keep going and exercise to your potential.
I offer a free consultation service to identify what changes are required and how best to get you in shape. Training from your home is a great way to prevent you changing your mind at the last minute, once you’ve put your trainers on there’s no going back! Training sessions either take place in the home or we venture in to Harrogate’s scenic outdoors and train there.

Working out with Andy is brilliant. He is encouraging, laid back, funny, not remotely annoying (which I believe is a vital quality in a personal trainer). He works me hard making each session different from the last so boredom never creeps in. I look forward to every appointment. I could not do it without Andy as I would never get round to it with my work schedule.
I could not recommend him highly enough. I love the fact I had such weak arms and couldn’t do a single press up, yet now I can do 10 without wanting to cry. As the pounds slowly crept back, I decided to contact several personal trainers in the area again; Andy caught my attention by following up my e-mail to see if I was still interested. The first few sessions were a bit nerve racking, but I have found his style professional but relaxed and chatty, and he has pushed me a lot harder than I would have on my own. I have seen incremental improvements in my fitness and strength levels, lower blood pressure, renewed interest in mountain biking, and I’m running distances that I didn’t think were ever possible for me.
